Laboratories Details
1. Power System Laboratory.
This laboratory has over current relay, overvoltage and undervoltage relay, differential relay, distance relay, earth fault relay, stator relay, microprocessor based relay protection seheme, HV testing set (upto 100 KV DC), storate CRO, etc.
2. Electrical Machine Laboratory
This laboratory has a DC series motors, DC shunt motors, DC compound motors, all types of DC generators, single phase and three phase motors of different ratings. Some special machines like scharge motor, reluctance motor, repulsion motor, Storage CRO, transformers etc. Used for practical and testing purpose.
3. Electrical Measurement and Control System Laboratory
This laboratory has all types of measuring bridges, practical kits for varification of various theorem, AC servomotor, DG set, storage CROs, function generators, and all types of measuring instruments.
4. Basic Electrical Engineering Laboratory
This laboratory has various kits for verification of basic theorems, power supply, measuring instruments, transformer of different ratings, rheostats, etc. This lab is also used for fabrication work of projects.
5. Computer Laboratory
LAN system with ten nodes, nine standalone P-IV PCs, printers, 24 hour
internet/intranet facilities available in lab, softwares like C++, VB,
MATLAB with different toolboxes.
Seminar Hall
